Here is my 1972 Genuine Mexican Super Bee.

Hi everyone! Thanks for letting me join the group. I live in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex and I own a 1972 Mexican Super Bee. It's very rare and I will export it to the US very soon. It was the Mexican 318 with the 270 HP, a 4 speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter. It in great shape! I have attached a few pictures for your enjoyment. Leo

Yes sir! That's the way they came with 270hp from factory. My understanding is that they were more powerful than the US 318.

They came from factory with 340 parts, no emissions equipment to reduce power. There is a video in Spanish that claims the Mexican 318 was underrated at 270hp and was really 300hp. It also came from factory with NO power steering, heater and a/c so no accessories draining the power.

Yes that is correct. There are multiple threads in this site that validates the 270hp claim.
