Here they come!

My buddy had a 67 RS/SS which got me into muscle cars back in the day. My 6 pack super bee was the car he hated the most .... guess why. I don't think the new camaro looks like the old one at all. Its just too squashed looking. I think GM missed the classic styling mark big time.

Case and point, The new one looks like it was interbreed with an 80's vette. I don't like it.

A friend of mine owns a show quality '69 Z28 and he doesn't like the styling of the new one. He thinks Dodge got the styling right with the Challenger. Thats one chevy guys point of view.

I'm gonna throw my 2 cents in here. I own a new Challenger R/T and I bought after I saw one in person. Until then, based off the pictures I really didn't like it that much. Dodge did a great job with this car (sure, they could have done a few more things to make it "better"). As for performance, I'm VERY impressed, and my car only has 400+ miles on it right now. Now with the Camaro, I'm just glad they built the damn thing. It's performance bang for the buck is much better than the Challenger. I optioned off a Camaro on the GM website yesterday and a similarly equipped Camaro is $1355 less than my car but comes with Brembo brakes and 50 more horsepower. Sounds like a bargain to me. I'd say be glad that the muscle car wars are gonna be back this summer, and probably for a very short time!

GM also said they weren't shooting for a purely nostalgic look with this new version, but took some ques for the past. I think I can see a lot of 69 Camaro in there. Compared to the last gen Camaro it's a home run, that last one looked like a womens shoe.

Despite the mess that the Auto maker world is Im still holding out hope that I will get a chance to spend the money Im saving on not buying cigs on 1 of these one day. Hemi Cuda concept..........

Looks like the grille from a 71 Demon.............

.......and IF they're true to form, they'll never produce a car like this.....it looks too good........they usually go through the "ugly-ization" department before we get 'em. Remember the Charger concept ?
