scored a freshly rebuilt 340 and 727 tranny ready to roll for the project....now it's time to get really seroius!!!

Making slow progress,,, had to build a makeshift garage to be able to keep working on it....looks like there's gonna be a lot of body work after a little soda blasting!!!

So looks like previous owner had some ideas and did some sloppy welding. should I try to fix, or just replace?

Floor damage, guess I gotta try out Classic Industries for a new pan!! At least damage is limited to passenger side front only...

I can't wait to see how this project goes. Looks like you are doing this the right way.

This one is the most involved project I've ever done, but since it's going to be my Grandson's first car, I must do it all right and make it as safe as possible!!!

OK, so weather is finally cooling down enough to make progress....cut out old rusty floor for new pan!!

I just fell in love with your build all over again  Good times on there way seeing you have your grandson involved =D>...JMO... it looks like who ever dun the work on your K frame did not paint and seal his work to except a different oil pan, should be good to go, but I would let a real tech jump in and give his/her opinion :pl: other wise I see a new and cool build moving forward :eek:ccasion:

Thanks Memike, I actually located a different K frame over the past couple months that was from an A body 340..so I won't be using the one I pictured..

Ok so now crunch time is getting too close, need to make serious progress if we are to get this done for grandson's 16th b-day..only 1 1/2 yrs to make it happen!!!
bodywork now in progress...finally!!!
