See the link above.I know that's true of the intake manifolds (mostly) but are you sure about that on the exhaust manifolds? That's one I've never heard. Not that means a damn thing. lol

Yes they are bigger and taller. I had old LA specific headers (pre 68) and they would not seal on a 340 port, bottom of port was exposed. Red are 64 273 and orange are 340 (probably exhaust gasket port matched)...I know that's true of the intake manifolds (mostly) but are you sure about that on the exhaust manifolds? Does anybody make high flow exhaust manifolds for a bodies? I have headers, but am getting tired of the clearance issues I am having with them. I've smacked high spots in the road twice now and one pipe is almost collapsed. I'd love to go back to manifolds, but not the crappy flow!
Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
TTi shorties work well. here's a crap pic of 2 1/2" TTi head pipe off the short headerMaybe look at shorty headers? TTI makes some pretty nice ones.
Are 360 manifolds bigger than 318?
Either HP or not...

lol, all i had handy. thanks. i knew i hated welding upside down before they went in, but now i really hate itYou're right. Crap pic. lol I like the subframe connectors. Especially how you added the straps on the bottom side to tie in with the cross member.
When I was looking for these manifolds a couple of years ago, I thought that the new ones were $599, but I could be wrong. I bought one by itself, drivers side, then found a passenger side with a broken bolt hole, the front. He had the piece broken, and I had Ostrich Racing weld it on professionally. I think that I had $75 in that one, including the welding. I got lucky, and you really have to look to see where it was welded.IIRC Year One has the 340 clones @ $750, AAR clones and casting numbers but fit and function as A as well. For $750, you can get originals with the heat riser and have $300 to spare, just search around.

Interestingly the only factory manifolds they didn't test on that 300 Magnum, were Magnum manifolds.
Wonder why?
Wonder what he uses to measure deck clearance?Ballin' with that new $50!
so the headman tight tube headets are within a few hp of the tti some points making more , for 1/2 the price not a bad dealInstalling Exhaust Headers Into 300hp Crate Engine - Mopar Muscle Magazine
Here's a header manifold shoot out, there's not much deference in HP between manifolds normal 360 are the best deal.
