Some can really get bit by the bug...if they let it...this is just kitchen and hall way...shop should have been 80×60 ..can get really bad like a sickness ...also have 2 bedrooms full...this mobile home will probably always be a parts house...Next house I hope to not hoard...one bedroom has enough interior for 3 cars....this has been going on since 2008...I was way worse in the 90's when parts were dirt cheap...I would blow half my check each week on parts and eat bologna....smh

if you are married, ask the wife to sleep on the couch for a few weeks, this way you can fill half the bed with stuff too..

At one time i had a "parts room" that looked like this, where I'm currently at.

And very earlier pictures, when i was still in a one bedroom apartment.

EDIT:
Found some more pictures.
At one time, i also had a storage locker full, when i lived in an apartment.

Another EDIT.
My Factory Mopar dual quad, set up's, in the hoard.

I try and stay focused on only so much. I get tired of working on one project to long but do enjoy a finished (or at least to the level I’m OK with on that particular) car to drive and enjoy.

The wife called me a hoarder for fun the other day. We all laughed. If a person didn’t know me they would think I might be but there’s a rhyme and reason for what exactly it is I have and it’s all to experiment with. The recent rise in prices does suck. When I had a lot of part it was great. When times got lean and I needed something quicker than the paycheck allowed, but I’d sell parts. As it is now, I’m down on intakes to test. Only a handful remain. They should still provide good video content.

As long as you can still see the floor, you got more room.

It’s not all shiny big money collectable stuff, but a hoard is a hoard and its all mine. And I have packed more in and there is less space since I took these pictures.

This is exactly why I stay single, so I have more room. My family used to say it is a problem, but I call it a lifestyle.

The problem with mopars is that even the parts are good looking and nice to have laying around.

In my area, cars don't rust so I was cleaning out junkyards up to a few years ago. Now if Colorado made it easier to get old abandoned cars titled then I'd have a lot more on the road, but even in parts, mopars are great.

LMAO! You just haven’t met a good looking MoPar man that’s on board with you yet.

Well, my plan is to finish my car, sell whats left then buy more "go fast" stuff. But I have and had my own version of it. I rented garages for years, then I purchased my property with a small shed on it and said "I can build a garage here..." then demolished the shed and framed a garage etc JUST FOR THE MOPAR..and Harleys etc. its funny the mopar is garage kept in primer but the cars with paint sit outside and go to chit....but they are daily driven the Dart is a resto...

@Mtrhead what part of SC are you in? I'm likely within a 2-3 hour drive from you so if you're ever looking to sell off some stuff I'd be happy to buy. Open to trades too but my stash is relatively small right now.

I mean, pretty much any "car guy" you might meet will be OK with hoarding to some degree. If you'd want to be with someone like that to begin with lol I'm on the fence about it myself. I have enough obsession with gearhead stuff for an entire family LOL

Believe it or not this is the second time I started collecting Mopar I jumped the fence one time and sold everything I had back in the 90s and went to the rotary Mazda rx-7 turbo ll's....I missed Mopar so much I started back

When one of my old Mopar car buds passed a few years ago, they said the
"guys" had a hard time getting his body out of his house. I can see that/

I used to be the same, had "wish" sandwiches more than a few times. I'd hate to post pictures of my basement. Three Barracudas in it along with engines, transmissions, and most everything else. And I've been selling stuff off for at least 5 years. Gotta love my wife for putting up with me.

He who dies with the most toys...wins!!!!!

I told my wife I would get rid of all my old Mopars and parts before I kick off. She said, no need "I will just find a new guy that is a Mopar guy!" Go figure?

Npw. I have NO worries in the world!!
