For a big block which is better machine shop guy told me the bowls too small on 750 Eddie avs is he full of it .. GO !!!:angel8:

We run one; just make sure the fuel gets to it.

A lot of what carb to use depends on 2 things. 1, what carbs you like/are comfortable with.
2; type of build/ AKA; racing, street strip, hot rod, every day driver…
Also, Holley carbs can handle bigger cams. Of course, that would not be a simple Holley replacement carb. The Edelbrock carbs are closer to replacement to high performance carbs rather than race carbs.

I've always been partial to Holley's but hey, the AFB (now Performer) was good enough to power the Hemi and dual quad 409's so...
I've got a pair of Edel 750's I'm going to try on the blown 440 I'm putting together.
