Been 96-98 here with up to 100% humidity.

"Only" 77% humidity and 96 degrees today but heat index of 109-115.

"Change shirt" as noted above is real.

I passed one of those time/temp billboards a few hours ago, at a restaurant in town. I should have got a picture so you would believe me, but it said.....

3.46 p.m. 123°f

I'm not sure it was that hot. Weather Channel said it was only 121. So I unloaded 90 gals of drinking water from my truck.

In the house with the a/c set for 79° and a 29° beer in my hand, it feels like a meat locker.

I can think of some spots out by Ft Irwin that could be right there too. Northeast end of Ft Irwin is like just one ridge away from Death Valley
