This picture is the the perfect example of the yellow I would never paint my dart (the truck in the background) and the yellow I’ve wanted to paint my dart forever (foreground). Beautiful car. What color code is that?Mine’s certainly not perfect but I do a little at a time and it has won a few trophies at some cruises.

Thank you. The color code is GY3. Dodge calls it Citron Yella and Plymouth called it Curious Yellow. This picture is the the perfect example of the yellow I would never paint my dart (the truck in the background) and the yellow I’ve wanted to paint my dart forever (foreground). Beautiful car. What color code is that?
Darn. I THOUGHT that was a Rambler, but since it was in a Thread called "Honest Pictures of your Mopar", I assumed It must have been some early A that I was not familiar with. I have always been a fan of Ramblers. Funny story: When I lived in California back around 1978, My neighbor and his son rebuilt the 6 cylinder engine in a nice looking Rambler. When they were done, they were trying to start it. Crank, crank, crank, backfire, crank, crank, backfire........ So I went over and asked if he needed any help. He politely refused, and said he wanted to figure it out on his own. A few hours later. He and his son came over and sheepishly asked for help. First thing we talked about was the firing order and check the spark plug wires. I asked him which way the rotor turned, and he looked at me with a strange look, and said don't they all turn clockwise? So we pulled the distributor cap and sure enough; counter clockwise it was. Five minutes of flipping spark plug wires around and she started right up. We had a good laugh over that.'64 Rambler Classic 660

Wow, black is beautiful. I am torn on whether it would look better with some sort of stripe. If you were thinking the same thing, figure out a way (maybe with some colored or white paper and some tape) to experiment.
It's not a Mopar ??? Not even adopted in 1987 ???Darn. I stand corrected. That is why we see some AMXs and Javelins at Mopar shows. That being said, I was glad nobody ever tried to include Mecedes cars into the Mopar fold since Daimler Benz owned Chrysler for a while. It's not a Mopar ??? Not even adopted in 1987 ???
The rest of the project you didn't see. That's all paint. Not a decal. And 100% spot on.Wow, black is beautiful. I am torn on whether it would look better with some sort of stripe.
