I have a '65 Barracuda and I don't recognize these hood bumpers (advertised on e-bay for 64-66 Barracuda). Would the Valiant use them also?

Pishta, on your 65 when the hood is closed, do they rest on anything when the hood is closed?, or are the just plugging a hole in the hood lip. I have them on mine, but the PO put a 65 hood on my 64, and when the hood is closed they do not touch anything.

Same bump stops are used in 63 Valiants, but are not on the hood. Instead, they are located on the grille panel on either side of the hood latch. You can see one of them in this pic. What I'm using here (and on my 65 Barracuda) are actually Chevy truck hood bumpers because at the time I needed them correct Mopar reproductions weren't available (or if they were, I was not aware of their existence). I now have some correct ones, but have not yet got around to changing them.

I just found a photo of my own '65 Formula S hood taken during complete body teardown almost 3 years ago. Looks like I have seen those bumpers after all.
