haveing a problem with my 67 barracuda hood seems it hits the cowl pannel when i close it ive tried adjustment but theres no more room to go forward dont think its the hood not sure on the hinges they look original

- Is the hood original to the car
- Are you sure it is a barracuda hood
- Post a photo of the hinges when the hood is as closed as you can
As far as I know It's original but I don't know just looking at the color which matches the body but I'll post some pics in a bit

Your hinges look good in the down position too.
Try making to front of the hinge lower than the back of the hinge on the hood? And or visa versa.
Something is just not quite right.
On a side note when my hood goes down on my dart it is really close the the cowel as it closes
67 dart.

I'll give that a try and I'll post the results
You would be surprised how non intuitive I have found panel and door etc fitting is
I tried again the passenger side seems it might work but the driver side still hit I'm wondering if the hinge is bent
