Hood Hinge Break Out

Ok, went to put the hood on my 72 Dart and the sheet metal on the hood where the hinge mounts broke out.

Anybody got a fix out there??

In Nevada there has got be a few good hoods available.....nice hoods go for like $100 bucks. A lot easier to buy a new one, my .02

Check out the Nov issue of Mopar muscle. They do a repair on the striker and latch area of a door with a kit from these guys.

Noe I realise that is not the exact same problem you are having,but they may have an idea for you.

You can buy a hood, or repair/weld your existing hood, but make sure you hinges arent worn, or your next hood will break too.
