hood hinge stiffness 72 Dart

i have a 72 Dart Swinger. up to now it has been hard to pull the hood shut as the hinge is very stiff. recently the passenger side hinge wont begin to collapse at all and i dont want to pull the hood down to hard so as not to bend the hood itself. Can the hinges be adjusted or should i look to replace. If i should replace where can i buy new hinges?

i applied lubrication and the hinge is working again. but now the rear of the hood is above the fender level by about an inch when closed. The hood does not look bent or warped which is what i was worried about after pulling down on it with the seized hood hinge. What is the fix for this? i have tried adjusting it where the hinge bolts to the hood but that did not change it. any help is appreciated.

Adjustment.

IIRC the adjustment to lower the rear of the hood is counter intuitive.

Like lower the front of the hinge on the hood
