hood hinge

GOT a small problim i bought a 340 Dart hood i was not there to see it,a friend deliver it to me.as you can see were the hinge bolts to the hood someone welded it there is no way to slide the hood back and forth the other side is fine,now i have seen on ebay that there are some hinges that are elongated,as you can see mine are not,what to do have anyone of you had this problim.Here i thought i was on my way to getting a descent hood,i would like this fix befor its off for paint.Thanksssssssss.

The 72 up hinges have an elongated slot. You could I guess elongate the holes in your current hinges.
