Hood pin kit what size step bit?

I purchased this stainless steel a body hood pin kit from Detroit Muscle Technologies, and wanted to know if anyone knows the step bit size to use for hood side hole that pin goes through.

And that's the beauty of step bits. Easy enough to upsize as needed. When I did mine, I ended up making the hole 1 step bigger than the hole in the chrome bezel which ended up being perfect.

Ok but what size step bit do i use to make large enough hole

I've seen different size pins, what size are your pins?

Work your way up until it works. I installed the pin and put red axle grease on the top, closed the hood until it just touches and it will marl it for you. Work your way up in steps until it works and install the bezel to make it perfect.
