Hood pin question.

I just installed hood pins on my Scamp. Now I'm wondering which hood lock mechanism do I remove. The release lever under the grill or the hood latch under the lip of the hood? Kind of a elementary question but I just can't figure it out.](*,)

Factory hood pin cars had both latches still in place. But you can take either or off. My Dart has hood pins so I took them both off. Just up to you realy.

If you take them off you can't forget to put the hood pins in before you go for a drive!!!!

A friend of mine removed both, He forgot to put the pins in and wrapped the hood up over the roof. Leave one on. Steve
