Will a hood for a 72 dart 4 door fit a 72 2 door. I have a chance to get one locally and do not want to get it if it wont fit. Thanks

Yep "all" 72 dart noses from cowl fwd are the same

72 came with two different hoods early and late. The hinges are different early take 71 and earlier hinges. Late uses 73 and later. It is the hinge attachment area that is different. Get the hinges with the hood to be on the safe side Two different hinges
Kinda looks like they could interchange lessen some adjustment.
I tried and It was easier to just change the hinges. Look close the bends and length are different. The early hood can be put on a late car but the late hood is not as easy on an early car. Finding a early hood with the snorkel scoop access holes is very rare. All the early hoods have the twin scoop access holes and all the late hoods have both. Finding a hood that fits a 70-71 with the snorkel scoop holes is rare.
