Hood release cable mounting question

Hey all,

I was hoping I could get a photo from someone with a 1970-1972 Duster with a cable release hood.

I am trying to figure out where to mount the bracket that is attached to the cable by the latch release behind the grill. I will attach a photo of mine for clarification. Thanks in advance!

I have never seen one installed, but my bet is that the long side of the bracket runs parallel to the horizontal part of the rad support.

Just a guess
