The complete hood hinge should just pull off the pin once the push clip is removed. If it's rusty, try soaking it in some PB Blaster.
Maybe a nudge with a pry bar is in order....

Sometimes I pretend to be normal
If your talking about just the spring, you pop off the side of the spring with the loop around the pin. Then you have to either grind off the tangs that are crimped down so the spring doesnt just come out or spread that pin apart. I would only spread it far enough to wiggle the spring out with it dragging across the crimps.
