I was wondering if anyone has had a problem with the Hotchkis frame connectors, I'm talking long term after install. I ask as I recently purchased a car that has them and I couldn't believe how thin they are. Nothing but sheet metal and they are dented from what I don't know maybe floor jack damage. I would never have bought these I would have added one s that were thicker something that dosent buckle under a floor jack.

I've had them for about a year. I would not use them for a jack point but they work just fine for being a subframe connector. A thinwall tube is plenty strong until it's crushed.

I really don't think the ones I have were much thinner than the actual frame rails of the car. Maybe they changed the design.

It may work, but I wouldn't trust them.
I bought a set of Mopar Performance and
sent them right back.
Spindly looking with no serious strength benefit
that I could tell.
Ended up buying US Car Tool weld in set, much better.
They look like they were meant to be there.

I bought 2x3 inch 14 gauge box channel and built my own. They come through the floor under the front seats but go straight into the rear sub frames. Really stiffened the car up.
