I have a 77 360 complete. What did you do to plug emission holes under ports?Tap and put a plug?or I heard you can plug with JB weld?Or can they be welded closed?Any help is appreaciated as I,m getting ready for exhaust! Thanks

I used to have emissions holes on a set of 302 heads. I used 1/4-20 allen head pipe plugs after I tapped the hole.

tapped the hole about 3/8" deep, use grub screws bottomed out. They sit below the surface and after a year or so, you'll never get them out...lol.

I once got a van with the use of aluminum foil stuff and jammmmed in there.

Well some of these are different.I think I,m gonna weld them closed, try out the new welder! Thanks for all the advise!

I drilled and tapped, then used 1/4 -20 allen setscrews that I coated liberally with JB Weld.
