How Do These Guys Guys Figure This **** Out????

If you follow in fathers footsteps, learn as apprentice, practice, practice. Without seeing a thing done by someone with the skills... trial and error will get you there in time. I've screwed up 3 or more of a thing to learn all the dos and don't.
 
Big deal, anyone can repair a light like that, the hard part is sitting on the floor in PJ's and cross legged.
 
Cool....most people would have tossed it out! Everything is made to be thrown away today, not many people take the time to fix anything! Maybe they can’t afford a new one or find one where they live, or maybe they’re bored and wanna see how creative they can be? Look what happened during the great depression, everything was hard to get and people repaired or reused what they had whether it was cars, tires, clothing, household items, shoes....when is the last time you heard of someone getting their shoes repaired? Not many things today are made to reuse or fix, sadly it’s just easier to throw it away and buy a new one....we are way more wasteful today and I’m guilty of it too :(
