How do you trace your cars history

-
Yep! It's call buy it from/know the original owner and it be a one person/family car.

nope not unless your car is 64 back I think, chrysler lost all of there files after 1964

Some years ago, there was someone in Hemmings motor news that could trace your cars history for a modest fee. My dads 1955 Chrysler 300 we knew came from Florida, but did not know the car was delivered to a dealer in Daytona Beach. The researcher discovered the car was present at Speedweeks in Febuary 1955.

Next to impossible, most states have privacy laws, also if it sat unregistered for 10 years or so many states wipe it off there records.

Back in the day, it was pretty easy to get the info from your governement licensing departments (DMV for US of course). Now with the new privacy laws, that has become next to impossible, which is too bad.
