I had a 383 in a '72 Valiant that I figured made maybe 280 or so HP, about what I would guess you are making. I also had 2.76 gears in it, and it ran in the 14's at 94 Mph. Your Sb might be a little lighter, so Strokers guess is prolly a good one.

mid 15's with the gears holding you back

with the 2.76 gears..the clocks will reset before you get to the end of the 1/4 mile...LOL..jk

I think 14.7 @ 95. I ran 15.2 w/ a teen 4 barrel and 2.94 gears. :)

14.55 @ 98.8 .... probably be a helluva one tire fire.

15:20's at the best. To tall of a gear so it will spin a lot. Need to put in some 3:91's to with lock-up differential to get it moving. Also should bump the convertor up to say 2800 to get some good from the cam and intake.

I agree with most. Gear and converter get in the way of performance here. mid 15's just after the shift into 3rd gear......and 2 seconds behind the guy with an identical car/engine except 3.91's, a 3000 stall and ET streets

Ya high 14s. Just leave it in second and run it out the back door. The 3 rd gear shift will be a waste of time..

You need a least 391 gear or better. your car probally has the potental for better but you are going to have to gear it.The old mopar chassis book breaks down the numbers on Mph and ETs if you can find one . I have one but Ill have to look for it. If I f ind it Ill post the numbers.

On my third run ever on the track I got a 14.97 at 91.11mph. I had traction problems on my runs after that.
