how high mileage 8 1/4

I found a couple of complete 8 1/4 rear ends but they have 200,000 miles,
Are they worn out or still have some life left? They only want $60 for each and they are sure-grip with 355's.

just open'm up and do to things.. check the teeth.....ohh yeah and run a magnet through the oil..if the teeth are f'd up...you would need new gears...run a magnet through teh oil to see if it pulls up any shavings...also check and see how freely the axles move..

New suregrips are inexpensive and the hardware to install them are also cheap. Get'em.
