Parts, I have some parts from cars that were totally dismantled, quite a lot of a body stuff from 68-74.....

Had a 71 RoadRunner for years, but sold it when the kids starting having more toys than me.Present time I have

1971 340 Duster

1993 W150 4*4 short wheel base w/ a 360 5 speed = 1 of 28 built.
 
Man I don't believe I missed my favorite car!
Somewhere around 1987 I bought my 69 Dart 340 Swinger 4 speed. Its f8 green with tan interior, stripe delete. Pretty much original, and I had known the car since 78-79, when a friend owned it. Sending it off to a body man this year for a going over, and hopefully be able to run it again next spring mostly redone- interior, detailing, chrome, etc.
At the same time my buddy owned this car, I had a 70 Nova 350 4 speed that was mildly built. The amazing thing is that we never street raced each other with these two cars... I knew his Dart was faster, he thought the Nova might take him( no way). My deciding factor for not buying more chevies was this:
I was continually breaking the trannies, cluster gears, 3rd gear, synchro rings. I never heard of too many Mopars breaking. I got real good at identifying and tearing down those muncie trannies and putting clutches in the Nova in the 4 years I drove it. Only had a Mopar four speed apart a couple times to repalce synchros and bearings. Their not as easy to put back together(maybe I didn't have enough practice? :thumrigh:
By the way, I didn't list any cars that I don't presently have, and I scrapped a lot of them. Always needed parts for something,and believe it was cheaper to buy the whole car, strip it and fix a better car than to get stuff from the junkyard for big bucks. Most cars I stripped were rusted/wrecked beyond repair. No deals like that anymore...
 
2 right now,

71 Ply Scamp 318, 4-speed, disc brakes, 8-3/4, white bucket interior. Runs great but looks like crap. Needs new quarters on both sides.

68 Dart 270 slant6, auto, perfect rust free body, original paint, nice interior (except for being blue), getting sbp disc brakes this weekend.

The two cars may soon become one. Thinking of taking the V8, 4speed, 8-3/4", bucket seats, dash pad, carpet and headliner out of the scamp and putting it all into the dart. That way I'll have a nice 68 and I wont have to tackle the bodywork on the Scamp. But that leaves me with the shell of a 71 Scamp and a slant6-auto to get rid of. I'd like to keep them both, but i'm getting older and its hard to do the body work type stuff.
Oh what tough decisions we make when were addicted to mopars !
 
1 A body - My Demon...
1 B body - 73 RR Clone, 400/727/8-3/4...
1 '00 Durango, 5.9 4x4...
1 '02 Neon, POS, 'nuff said.

I only have one "A" body and I plan never to get rid of it. I may eventually pick up a donor car.

1972 cuda 340 pistol grip car i gave to my youngest son.

and the wifes 03 mini van can't get her out of them thats her 6th one since they came out?

and i will keep looking for a duster and plan on letting go of one of the other cars.

A-bodies = 5

B bodies = 1

plus a 1999 Ram 2500 4x4. 2003 Ram 1500 4x4 and a 2003 Neon SXT.


I'm in the process of selling my 78 D150.

I've owned 16 a bodies in the last 17 years. I've owned a total of 29 other Mopar cars and trucks in that time as well. Seems stupid now.

I can say I've never owned a chebbie!
