Just thought I would see who might guess the closest to the hp. this motor will make when we dyno this week. 414 stroker .020 above deck flat top pistons, .060 gasket, out of the box indy heads,indy intake 1.6 rockers,608 cam, dual pattern 250@ 50 duration,W 850 quick fuel carb. Have fun guessing.

541HP @ 6000 and almost 530TQ@ 5000
That's the nice thing about long stroke motors; Big power at lower rpms, even @ 4300 you are still at 500TQ. That's it I'm building a stroker.

Nice numbers! How's the idle quality with that cam? Is there enough vacuum for power brakes?
The cam is not a big ole shag nasty ,the engine idles somewhere around 850-1000 rpm. the duration is 253@50 ,lift is 600 ex. 620 in. W 1.6 rockers we didnt measure vac. but I think power brakes ok.

That just made me decide to order the crank and pistons "TOMORROW" from Mancini to build a 416! Very impressive numbers!
