I posted this question on FTO. But it's a ghost town over there! I just acquired a 97 SB Dakota ( was a 4 cylinder) and the previous owner welded the spiders! So I'm looking for a Sure Grip unit for it but was wondering how many spline axles it has? I'll have to tear it down to verify it. I guess I should have added that it is a 8 1/4 rear.
