How much did a LD4B weigh.

i don't think an aluminum intake would weigh 20 lbs....maybe 10 - 12?

I was going to say 15 lbs. That will really wake up your 273. Made a pretty noticeable difference on my truck's 318. The only thing that I don't like about the LD4B is no provision for a coil mount. I put mine on the fire wall, but the 340 sixpack used a bracket the bolted on the intake bolts.

Yep. I used the 340 6pk bracket. Needed a little tweaking but worked. Lousy pic but u can see coil mounted on pass side and facing firewall.
Also needed to tweak throttle return spring holder. Intake bolts right beside carb can be a ***** to get torqued
