Need to know how much grief and anguish as well as what parts to buy.

You'll need the booster and master cylinder, vacuum supply hose to booster and the port that screws into the intake, a perportion valve, and brake fluid.

brake pedal? rod to the booster? bracket to hold it all together? Might be a winter time accumulation here...:read2:

If you buy a new booster from somewhere like Master Brakes it will include the standoff bracket and connecting rod to pedal and the firewall grommet.
Pedals are all the same.

I have to agree with Tony above... manual brakes are ok for an A-body. The booster does not get in the way or need to be maintained.

Wife and I both look forward to having power disc brakes under my fish.
Different strokes for different folks. :)

Guys, it was near bad news trying to hit the brake pedal off the gas pedal. Just not close to being used to it.
Redfish: Nice suggestion and I looked it up in Master Brake, I don't see a bracket (s) listed with it, plus a DUAL diaphragm? Needless expense as I've driven with singles since '71 and it's been okay.
I'd say theres two reasons for pb's.
1. Same, or close to it, height to gas pedal
2. Plain as hell, makes it a tad easier to stop.

YMMV of course:cheers:
