Hi Battery Charges fine Street Driving , probably because I do not use the electric fan as much as on the dragstrip, At The Strip it sucks the power

Im Running , carter Electric fuel pump CSR Electric water pump, 16 inch electric fan , Plus Msd E curve Diizzy

Running a 70 amp Altenator, Charger up fine at home put Guage on it

The Battery is a 620 CCA Commercial

The current draw is the sum of the individual load currents. Motor current increases with motor load, so the current will vary for the fan, and pump motors. The ignition current will increase with RPM. It is easy to measure currents with a clamp-on DC ammeter. The clamp is used on the supply lead only. If the clamp is used on supply and ground together, the reading will be zero.

Here is an example of clamp-on ammeter.

As long as your alternator keeps the battery charged, over the long term, it is doing its job. If you get a bigger alternator it will load the engine more at the strip.
