I plan to attend "The big Puyallup swap meet" this weekend to see if I can find an 8.25" carrier to upgrade my 2:45 rear end to either a 2:93 or 3:23. I've learned here that my 2:45 carrier has a different thickness ring gear mounting area so the pinion will line up properly.
