Hi,
Let me start be saying, "Yes..I am paranoid about screwing up first Mopar."
OK, need to replace the oil pick-up tube on my 340. A FABO member (thanks again 1968FormulaS340 ) indicated that I just had to pull the oil pump to do that. Seems straight forward, but just want to make sure I am clear on the process.
- The 2 bolts circled in Yellow seem to be what's holding the pump housing in place...correct?
- Need to back out the four bolts (circled in White) holding the windage tray in place to gain access to one of the two bolts.
- Unscrew the existing pick-up tube and screw in the new pick-up. Make sure pickup sreen sits nice and close to the bottom of th epan.
- prime the pump and reinstall.
Am I on the right track here?
Thanks as always,
Pat
