Hey y'all, I'm Franco.

I'm a diesel addict and a Mopar muscle lover. I work at my family's shop as a mechanic and am currently working on restoring my dad's 1965 Barracuda. The car itself has sat inside without seeing sunlight for 20+ years until I pushed him to finally start working on it.

The car is getting a 340 out of a '70 race Duster my dad and uncle ran at the track.

The project is currently on hold as we need a rotisserie.
 
Welcome from MN. Looks pretty sweet. What trans are you going to run?
 
I will be leaving the automatic in it for now but I do have a 4-speed if I ever want to swap out.
 
How far are you from Fort Hood / Killeen area? I'm staioned here and have a father/son project 74 Dart Swinger and a 72 D100. It's good to know the local connections!

We are rebuilding the suspension and putting on new bottom coating. The car might not look like it needs to be 100% fully restored from the pictures but there are some parts that need it.

Cypress is 164 miles from Killeen. I was actually just up in Temple a few days ago, met some buddies of mine at the Little River Dragway for the Truck Shootout. Great looking Dart and truck!

Man, its more Texas folk here than I though! You gonna like this place... Aint Cypress near Waller and Monaville? Got a buddy out there. Welcome!

You could probably put that shroud up for sale and finance the rest of the build. LOL ;-) Enjoy the best Mopar site on the net! We'll be watching.
