welcome to the forum

nice to see another 1971 Demon

thank you all for the big welcome and if any one knows a bout hooking up a BWT10 trany to a 440 PLZ let me know

Welcome.
If you have all the linkage, have your local machinst make some bushings out of brass.
The ends wear out and it super easy to do.
My neighbor made brass bushings for all of the rod ends on my last 3 on the tree, for $20.00.
This will tighten the linkage up so it don't bind.
If you are missing the rods them I would just throw in an aftermarket floor shifter to get the car moving.

Howdy from Houston. Youre not far from my daughter who,s in odessa. Her husband runs a wireline truck for fesco. I bet he knows where yer at.

Welcome back home to the Clovis/Muleshoe area....looks like a pretty straight Demon.....Martin has a Demon as well....he is my cousin/best friend.

I am working on a 74 Duster.
We should meet up sometime and check out the sisters.

I'll PM you.

3-speeds have no mounting pads, to put a floor shift you have to go aftermarket.
Here is one option.

And your trans is most likely an A230 which is actually a pretty strong trans and geared decent. Don't junk the trans when you with the 4-speed.

Twizted, here's a handy reference chart you can print out and keep.

no t10's in mopars. if you putting chevy parts in it you may as well sell it and buy a chevy.

Welcome to fabo! Good find on the Demon, it looks very clean. I'm originally from Amarillo and now live in San Antonio. I have a 71 Demon, 72 Duster and I just bought a 1951 Dodge pickup.
