Hello!
So Hughes insists that I need to run their cam HEH2832BL and nothing larger at my altitude (5,000 to 7,000ft) with an 11:1 .030" over 440, but that looks really small to me. 440Source raves about the Comp XE295HL but that looks like a lot of cam for even very hot street/bracket.

Anyone have experience with these, or should I be looking at Voodoo or something else?

I want a solid 11 sec '69 Dart. I have a stick and will have good gears.

p.s. I ran a .509 in a 383 here years ago and I liked it, so maybe the Comp would work?

Bullet racing cams. Call them and talk to them about your wants and needs and they will grind you one. It's that easy, no pressure from the Hughes guys to run what they want you to have.

I have used Hughes cams in my last 3 440's. I cant say enough about them. I don't have any experience with there hydroulic cams though. I would highly recomend a solid cam no matter who you use. Are you using 1.5 or 1.6 rockers?

Racer Brown? Read many good things. He would take your specs and wants and custom grind a cam to match your components.
