I was wondering if what was used on the Hemi cars was a hurst handle that was readily available or? The car photos I’ve looked at showed that they weren’t the usual A body handle found in normal production cars.. I don’t own a Hemi car but I thought I’d try to source a similar handle for my 4spd 68 Dart. I know it’s a trivial item and people change them all the time to their personal taste.. Hurst makes a wide variety of handles in various lengths and angles..

If anyone happens to have a hurst part number, that would be great.. or even the next closest thing

This is a photo from Herb McCandless’ Hemi Dart

This is the one and Hurst have nothing like it today and never had, I´m quite sure.
They were welded and like I say not found in any other Mopar Car model.
I have a set including fresh zinc plated Selector Pin Carier and Loc Out Mechanism, if interested.

Here are some other options.
This is the Hurst aftermarket shifter for 67 bench seat cars, not a bolt on handle though, best shifter I ever owned.
The Boss Mustang bolt on handle is very close, has a slight bend towards the driver, which is easily removed with a little heat.

This is correct for the 68 Factory Dart and Barracuda Hemi cars
