I am working on 2 of these big bastards and need to find some parts like a new valave and ignitor. Anyone know where to get parts for a heater that hasn't been made since 1994?

Wondair Automatic Heater

Cox manufaturing co. inc.
Ridgeville, IL

Model No. Rad U
Serial No. 17848
Capacity. 60-150,000

One of them will fire off after about 30 mins of trying and heat up but after an hour it will shut down and not come back on. The other one won't even do anything.

About every unit that will cycle once and not restart when the thermostat calls needed a controller. I learned that if the thermostat is closed when the reset button is used, shorten the life of the controller. Sounds like a whole lot of up and down the ladder huh ? I also learned to interupt the thermotat signal before using the reset :)
The control modules would be made by someone like Honeywell. You might source parts via the part maker rather than the unit builder. Hope this helps
