Just bought a new Chrysler 200 and love it. (Wifes Car) We looked at the Dart but it really seemed small. We have already made a couple 500 mile trips and averaged over 36 mpg on both. So far the little Chrysler is a gem.

To me? One more than the ugly little ricer they are playing off of a name with.
Well I am going to wade into this... I would like to share an opinion of the Dart based on the fact that I actually own one...
I bought a new Dart for my daughter to drive while attending college. This a a major milestone personally as my driveway now only has Mopar vehicles parked in it.
The new Dart is a fun car to drive. I test drove every model available with all available power train options and ended up getting the 1.6L turbo with 6 speed manual trans. The 2L NA motor is a dog and the automatics just make it worse. The turbo engine makes the car fun to drive with good performance. It is currently getting just under 31 mpg in town. It is surprisingly roomy inside and the trunk is huge. I happen to have the pleasure of living 5 minutes off the highway with the highest speed limit in the U.S. (85mph) and will tell you it does that and more very well. In short, I like and trust the car well enough to let my baby girl drive it to college which is over 4 hours away.
It is not a 196X Dart, or even a 197X one for that matter. It is a modern, fuel efficient vehicle with 19 airbags surrounding the passengers that is a hoot to drive and cost less than $20k. To compare it to a Kia would be like comparing the original Darts to a Volkswagon Beetle..

my 19 year old daughter bought one with the turbo and manual trans and she loves it i did a much research as i could on the car and it seams to be a solid car the car runs really strong kinda inpressed with it so for it cannot be compared with a neon much better built and i have a dart sport like i said i like the car just my 2 cents

The newer cars these days are more of an appliance than the old cars. Styling is a slave to the aerodynamic wedge shape, the wind tunnel sand dune look. They should just paint them all white like your washer and dryer. That is about how exciting they are...
