A friend of mine was looking to clean out his garage and I scored the 340 long block that was sitting under his bench. The engine only has ~2k miles on a rebuild but I tore into it to see what I had.

The pistons are Speed Pro forged L2316's at 0.030 over. They are sitting at zero deck in the block and the rods are floating pin.

The cam is stamped 1177 and looks like it has .465/.458 lift. Anyone got an idea what it is?

The heads are 1.88 intakes, the block is a 73.

Don't know what I am going to do with it, maybe I will build a 416 stroker.

if it was free then thats awesome!

Yes free!

Also free, I got extra set of bushed rods, (4) 14x7 American racing slotted aluminum wheels in excellent condition with (2) almost new 245/60 Goodyear Eagle ST and (2) good 205/70 Goodyear Eagle ST tires.

Like I mentioned don't know what I am going to do with any of it but I couldn't let it go. The tires and wheels I won't be keeping and will like advertise them soon.

You must be living right, Nice score

This seems to be the only kind of 340 I can score....:angry7:
