I can NOT believe that Budget would rent out to me a 6.4L 6 speed Challenger.

But they did.

Man o man....I asked if they had any Challengers, and she asked if I could drive a stick shift. I knew right away what they had.

I told her, "I can burn up a clutch as good as any man out there" and she said, "You'll have to pay for it if you do".

I said, "it's a wear item, like brakes or tires."

Without missing a beat, she says, "If I can smell the clutch when you bring it back...."

I don't know how to load pics from my phone.

They had a half dozen and had rented a bunch out instead of compact cars because they were out of everything else due to the holidays. I have seen as many as a dozen at the airport location here in kc, including some chargers too.

I paid $200 for rental into the 29th.

And for whatever reason, it's a lot harder to get them to rent from an airport location if you're not flying in n out. They don't want to rent to locals?

But if you fly somewhere, ask the rental people for a "specialty" car.
