I started volunteering at Food bank about 2 years ago. Mc Ds was right close and I ate my lunch in the vehicle. My go to meal was the double quarter pounder with cheese meal. Came with medium fries and medium drink. Cost was $12.48. New owner took over. An immediate increase to $13.66, then awhile later to $14.96, then to $16.74. These included 11% taxes because fast food is deemed as junk food. Last 1/2 year I go to Dairy Queen and have their meal deal for $10.00 including tax. It’s a few blocks out of the way. Kim
