As long as you do a backup to iTunes before you jailbreak, you really can't lose anything. If something happens, you can always restore from backup. In all my years of playing around w/ my phone, Sun was the first time i ever bricked it, and even then, i didn't lose anything

Unfortunately Samsung galaxy phones don't have that convenience. I found a program that will back up pictures, contacts, and videos. Other than that, you're screwed unless you root it and I heard there's a way to back up apps and such. That's the ONLY thing I miss about my iphone. Other than that, really like the giant screen on the Note II. Iphones are just too small.
