i mess up

i messed up to day i went to rebuild my carb and when i was taking it apart this ball berring fell out . i am not sure where it went . i know where every thing eals goes but not this ball . it is off my 1968 plymouth valiant . 225 slant six . its a 1 bbl carb . does any one know or have a dieagram i can get on here to sho me where every thing goes so i can get this back together.?

no that has a triangle thing in it . it came out of the middle part from some where . i can not figer it out .

It sound like your talking about the intake or discharge check ball.
What type of 1bbl carb. is it.

You could try taking the one you got down to the hardware store and match it up. If they are the same size that is.

nope .

ok, if you only have the one ball install it in the accelerator pump inlet on the left of the pic. this ball keeps the pump from pushing gas back into the fuel bowel when the pump diapham goes downward.

I know this doesn't help you with what you have but skip the carter and get a holley 1920 model.

Holley kits always come with new check balls as should your carter kit.
