What would you do under these conditions. I scored a set of M/T 26x12.50x15 Sportsman Pro tires (love them by the way), these are the super soft compound and are basically D.O.T. approved street wrinkle wall slicks. But they are nylon belted which means I cant run radials on the front. And putting a set of E-70x 14 on the front isn't going to make this cuda steer any better thats for sure. (footnote: from day one (1970) this thing has steered like a sailboat) . Keep in mind this car is only to be driven on cruise night and the occaisonal accelleration contests that pop up.
So whatwould you do ? put bias on and live with it or put some good radials on and swp tires as needed?

If you drive it as little as you said just put on the bias and live with it.

Go with the sportsman front runners. I run Hoosier Quick Time DOTs wich are alot like the Sportsman and have the matching Hoosier front runners. They arent bad.

I would run drag radials on the street and then swap on the QT's for the track.
