The Simon Fraser Institute think tank issues a "tax day" each year for Canadians. What that is, is the day each year when all taxes for everything you owe (every single tax you can think of) ispaid in full and everything else after that is "your" money. I'm not positive, but I beleive that the day is presently June 23.
I think the only reason why we pay so much taxes is because; 1) we're stupid and....... well...... thats pretty much it. :thumbup:
