What a Godawful car. No wonder they stopped making them after one year.

This is another one, "Just because you can doesn't mean you should"!

Hey nows, I like Corvettes. I like that body style with metal bumpers and a big block up to 72 I believe. As for the Superbird, I believe people who bought them actually Swapped 70 Road Runner or sattelite front grilles on them because they werent very popular in the looks dept in 1970.

And now because the damn things are "worth money" people are actually making/ faking/ cloning them, ruining perfectly good RR/ GTX/ Sport Satellites because people want ugly Superbirds.

Fixed it for you. Nobody thought they were attractive until they were valuable.

Given a choice of aero cars.....in order of my desirability.
1. 69 charger 500
2. Daytona
3. Superbird.
I would not throw any out of my garage..... except the Daytona and Superbird. They don't fit, lol !

Maybe the Corvette owner just needed a place to dry towels.

i... i... i don't hate it?

i mean, in context of cheese dick 70's car style it's perfectly apropos.

i am also a sucker for flat lavender.

If it was a real bird wing then they cut it in half and did not use the bottom flare to fit to the car's contour.
They would have also had to cut the cross wing down as I am sure the vette has a much thinner rear end than that big ole superbird.

Those model Corvettes look like the automotive version of a curvy female...

the vette bird looks 212 percent better than a plymouth super bird ...to me anyway
