yes Sir, we have some fine riding areas. but I gotta ask, do you work for the Chamber of Commerce. lol
I'm greedy, I like the trails to myself and couple riding partners.

I lived in Lewiston from 1993-1996 while I was recruiting for the Air Force.

I had responsibility for 20 high schools in Idaho and Washington. I went all the way South to Salmon River high school in Riggins, ID and east to Clearwater high school in Kooskia, ID.
Loved every minute of my time behind the windshield.

One time I took a drive east into the mountains and came across a 4-way intersection. There was a bar with 3 snowmobiles parked out front!!

I could live there again for sure. Nice thing about Lewiston is its low elevation so you don't get a ton of snow...but you're not far from the mountains. Every direction is up!!

If I tried to ride a dirt bike in a place like that.....I'd wreck and bust my butt because I wouldn't be able to keep my eyes on the trail! Absolutely beautiful scenery. Thanks for sharing the nice pics.

You would learn real quick to keep your eyes on the trail, otherwise it will be a long way down on some trails

Around here in Oregon if you don't keep your eyes on the trail you might end up flying off and going down a hundred feet before you hit the tops of the hundred foot trees! Same thing snowmobiling....
I'm sure it's the same in Idaho...

Grew up on a dirt bike in Washington State in the mountains and loved hill climbing. Thanks for the pictures brings back good memories.

Yep... its dangerous to be sight seeing on many of our trails. This one was tame. There some I ride that many people would doubt anyone could ride a motorcycle up.

Can't do it anymore to damn old. I loved trials riding and a few years ago bought a 1978 Kawasaki 250 trials bike and tried to do a wheelie and crashed and took me a few to get back on the bike. Picked rocks out of my butt for 2 days after. lol

I will be 57 this year and about finished with 100 mile single track rides or race pace rides.
Might do another Idaho City ISDE qualifier but only in the geezer class. Lol

I'm 62 and ready for wheel chair races I think, but still a kid in heart.
I live in North Dakota now and the closest thing to a hill is a pile of grain in a farmers field.
