Better closeup photos without the tag in the way, along with whatever numbers are on the switch.

As you can see, some have slots to lock them into the dash, some may have a nub to do the same thing. (you need to remove the bezels to see them) '69 switches are a lot larger in diameter, '70-1 lock cylinders use a wide tang to attach them to the column, the '72-up ones use a pin.

The 4 without the lock cylinder appear to be the '69 only switch. They made both 5 and 6 terminal versions. Check all for tight terminals, good bezel threads, and also the hole that holds the lock cylinder in place. Another area that fails is the plastic plate inside that the lock cylinder tang engages. That slot can chip and/or wear. Of course, without the lock cylinder, you can't really test them either mechanically or electrically.

Some have the hole cut out, probably to get the cylinder out without a key. I have priced accordingly to condition and if they have a key. I can investigate further if someone is interested in a particular one.

As I mentioned, '70-1 are different than '72-up......and it's not a switch, just the lock cylinder.
