Good afternoon FABO!!!
I just bought a 75 dart swinger /6!
It's the third A body I've owned.
My first was a 67 valiant that started out as a Pacific bell telephone company fleet car. I had it in high school because my 72 nova was a gas hog and I needed more affordable transportation. My second was a 66 Barracuda that I kept too short and sold too cheap!
Now I'm back, looking forward to getting this abused and neglected car (someone took an ax to it when they locked their keys inside...) back on the road. It's a cancer free car as far as I could tell but there is surface rust on the roof. Gas tank and seats are missing, but the rear seat back is still in place so that's one less item to buy.
I'd really like to keep the /6 and throw propane and a turbo at it... I've read 6psi boost below 3k rpms makes some interesting fuel economy.
Oh, I should mention, this return marks my 100th post!!!
If anyone here lives around Palm Springs, the inland empire, Orange County or L.A., keep an eye out for a mint green swinger buzzing about!!!
