Some of you may have noticed i haven't been around for a while i went back to work a couple weeks ago after being off for almost a year do to a shoulder injury.I worked for Lowes distribution center which i wasn't to crazy about but it paid the bills but last Tues. night i had enough and told my boss exactly where he could shove his job and walked out!
So now i am for the first time since i started working unemployed! I have been looking for something better and today i got a call from the Geisinger for a job,for those that don't know what Geisinger is it's a HUGE hospital.
Tomorrow morning i go for my interview and if all goes well i might be once again gainfully employed.
The job i am interviewing for is a low level job but i figure if i can at least get my foot in the door i might be able to move up to bigger and better things in the future.

Good luck Evil! Go in there beaming with confidence and you'll be fine. Nice to see you back by the way.

Good luck with the job! Don't forget to put down under job history "Supreme leader and founder of the Secret Scamp Owners Society"

Good luck with your interview! It's a tough time to be unemployed. I had one of those days today but I have been gainfully employed for the same employer for 20 years and I'd hate to throw that away. The good thing is that tomorrow should be different - if not better.

I was wondering where you were Kev. Good luck with the interview. Maybe you should add that you know some people with DEMONS to your resume. LOL

Well its about time:bootysha: Glad you took the time and updated us on a big change in your life.
I worked for a group of DR.'s and started out doing the maintenance ,trash and most every thing that was needed as a low level starting job,8) Turned out learning how to be a safety and air quality for O.R.
rooms and kept OSHA reg's to fire safety for 12 offices and two O.R rooms.
They took good care of me for 14 years.
Be open minded and eager to learn more.
Just be yourself, and confident.:thumbrig:
Good luck Evil, My fingers are crossed too.

Watch out for some of them nurses:-D

Is that your new avatar? or am I just slow at noticing. Very cool:-D

It's good to hear from you Kev. And good luck with the job interview.

Mike, that's a new avatar. Now that he's unemployed, he can't afford to supply cookies - even for the Dark Side. :)

What you did Mike is basically what i interviewed for today.

The interview went pretty well they have very good benefits but the starting salary was lower than i was hoping but he said there is also an opening on night shift that pays more so maybe i'll take that if they offer it.
He said it will be 2 to 3 weeks until i hear anything from them because they have others to interview plus background checks so i guess all i can do is wait.
I have other applications in so maybe i'll hear from anther place sometime soon.

Hope it goes well. The good thing about a job like that is, once your in your in. Its easy to move up....Hard to be let go! Good luck
